FirstFour is looking for Steel Structural Welders to join our team at a major shipyard in Mobile, Alabama.

COMPENSATION: $28.50 per hour
Sign on Bonus: $1000.00

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Single-pass and multi-pass fillets in all positions, for all joint and material thickness configurations
• Multi-pass full penetration joint details, for all joint and material thickness configurations

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma/GED OR two years of maritime experience.
• Ability to weld in uncomfortable positions where applicable.
• Minimum of 3 years of GMAW MIG welding experience at a comparable employer.
• Drug screen and background check required
• Testing Info as follows:
• Fluxcore welding test 3/8 plate 6 ” long Mild Steel
• 3 positions 2G, 3G, 4G
• .045 / .052 Fluxcore welding wire
• Gas Mixture 75% Argon 25% Carbon Dioxide 
• Full Penetration open butt weld
• Must be gouged on the back with Air-Carbon  Arc Gouging
• US Citizen or Perm Resident required for this government facility.

Marine Electrician

• 4 years' experience as an Electrician 
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS HAIR FOLLICLE DRUG TEST 
• Must be able to pass a written electrical test  
• Must have 480 volt hook up 
• Sonar, radar, power internal communication, navigation hook up
• Read Marine Blueprints 
• Fiber Optics exp 
• $29.71 per hour 
• Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident 
• If 75 miles from the yard Per diem is offered @ $59.04 per day worked
