We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead retail, restaurant, tenant improvement, and ground-up commercial projects throughout the Mobile and Baldwin County area.
This role is ideal for a proven PM with strong experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, including budgeting, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and client communication. The right candidate will be comfortable owning multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, timelines, and financial performance in a fast-paced general contractor environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage commercial construction projects from planning through completion
• Lead subcontractor coordination, vendor management, and client communication
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasting
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project delivery
• Provide leadership across field teams, contractors, and stakeholders
Preferred Project Experience
• Retail construction
• Restaurant / hospitality projects
• Tenant improvements (TI)
• Ground-up commercial builds
• Multi-site or fast-track commercial projects
Qualifications
• 5+ years of commercial construction Project Management experience
• Experience managing projects valued from approximately $500K–$10M+
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and subcontractor management
• Experience working for a commercial general contractor preferred
• Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree preferred
• PMP certification or pursuit of certification is a plus
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
