Responsibilities will include:

  • Bid Preparation – materials and labor break down
  • Project coordination, site visits
  • Presentation of estimates to clients
  • Project monitoring, communications with clients

 

Experience/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 + years of construction/construction estimating experience
  • 2 years of Sales experience with at least 1 year of outside sales in the construction industry preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and prioritizing skills
  • Valid Driver’s license – good MVR

Base Salary of $30K + Commissions. Average annual pay = $60k to $65k

Our Client is seeking a full-time Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting and implementation for Commercial Construction projects in South Baldwin County, AL.

Successful candidates will have proven experience as a Project Manager assisting with a variety of ground-up product types including commercial, mixed-use, multi-family and retail.

      Responsibilities:

  • Develop, understand, and maintain project budgets and schedules.
  • Oversee all aspects of assigned projects from concept through completion.
  • Fully develop and manage plans for construction of complex and/or multi-phased projects.
  • Create and execute project construction schedules.
  • Estimate and establish project budget, sub buyout, job cost tracking, and closeout.
  • Prepare all purchase orders and subcontractor agreements.
  • Secure and obtain all permits, approvals, and project utilities.
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
  • Fully engage and lead all meetings required with operations staff, owners, architects, designers, and subcontractors
  • Maintain quality control and safety standards.
  • Manage timely and seamlessly material acquisitions and deliveries.
  • Foster high quality relationships with clients through all aspects of a project

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Building Science and/or Civil Engineering or relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager overseeing ground up commercial construction including office, retail, multifamily, mixed-use, etc.
  • Must have experience estimating, sub buyout, job cost tracking, and closeout.
  • Must be able to prepare all purchase orders and subcontractor agreements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with construction management software and programs
