Successful candidates will have a Construction Management degree or 10 years of demonstrated experience as a Construction Manager, and an OSHA 30 Certification.

This role will write, prepare and submit quality technical bids and proposals for private and public sector construction projects.
Other responsibilities will include drafting contracts, document review, conducting opportunity research, process development, and providing overall project support.
Successful candidates will be detail and team oriented, have good research and technical writing skills, and a good comprehension of RFPs. Experience with construction administration, technical bids and proposal preparation for public sector construction projects required, as well as proficiency with Microsoft suite programs . Paralegal knowledge/experience a plus.

Experience/Qualifications
2+ years of commercial construction experience preferred

Our client, a reputable company specializing in the installation and maintenance of industrial rolling steel doors, is growing and looking to add a few Millwright / Stick Welders to their team. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Compensation: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour, DOE
Schedule: Meet at shop in Daphne, AL @ 7:00am Mon-Fri to ride in company trucks to the job…mostly 40 hours per week. There are occasional call-ins, but nights and weekend work are very rare.
Required Skills / Experience:
Millwrights typically transition well as we are looking for candidates who can weld, layout, fit up, read blueprints, operate hand tools, etc.
Stick welding on carbon steel (with some carbon to galvanized) experience is required. Most of the work will be fitting and welding the door guides to the existing jam.
PLC experience
Ability to use hammers, crowbars, saws, and other hand tools to dismantle doors and trim.
Most customer facilities are heavy industrial in nature, so you will need to be able to pass a background check, routine drug screens (including HFT), and have a clean driving record.
Candidates will need to interview and perform a hands-on assessment at the shop in Daphne.
