One of the world's leading manufacturers of vehicle repair equipment including automotive service lifts, parking lifts, wheel service equipment including tire changing machines and wheel balancers, and other vehicle service essentials is seeking Production Associate candidates to join their team. 

  • Experience in parts production required 
  • Production Associate position helps ensure production quotas are met by producing, fabricating, building, and assembling various equipment and finished goods in a timely manner while observing the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Build and test electrical control systems including, but not limited to control panels, control stations, and junction boxes.
  • Interpret electrical/mechanical diagrams/schematics to produce, build, assemble, fabricate, wire, terminate and test various equipment and goods such as Benders, PCL’s, Hoses, Cables, Chains, Control Panels, etc.
  • Cut, tap, and drill backplanes and enclosures, to mount buttons, switches, lights and miscellaneous control interfaces.
  • Receive and verify material to packing slip and project BOM.
  • Conduct production, build, assembly, fabrication, wiring, and testing activities.
  • Respond to and fulfill any assigned ATP Requests (Request to pull parts that are not in stock from complete machines)
  • Promptly report any production machinery issues or malfunctions to management.
  • Manage labor and material resources to maximize efficiencies and yields.
  • Interface with other cross-functional departments, and possibly customers.
  • Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
  • 2+ years of proven production or fabrication experience with a medium to large-scale distribution or manufacturing company
  • 2+ years of experience working with Electrical systems.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Hydraulic systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • 2+ years of experience working with precise measurements (i.e. micrometers, vernier calipers, measuring tape, etc.)
  • Basic shop math, reading, and writing skills.
  • 2 + years of experience working with RF Scan guns.
  • 2+ years of experience operating various forklifts. Certification is a plus
  • Pay is $16.00 per hour

This role will perform electrical and instrumentation inspections, repairs and rebuilds on all plant operating equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs to hydraulic/pneumatics systems and gas analyzers, AC/DC motors and drives
  • Install and align electrical motors
  • Troubleshoot, calibrate and maintain belt-weighing devices, pressure-sensing devices, temperature-sensing devices, motion-sensing devices, flow meters, flow control valves, and level indicators.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain motor control circuits and air dryers , variable speed drives
  • Maintain and replace control valves, actuators and positioners
  • Installation, maintenance, and adjustment of transformers
  • Troubleshoot and modify control loops
  • Troubleshoot, and repair cameras and monitors
  • Troubleshoot, adjust and maintain PLC’s
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining all types of starters
  • Fabricate and install conduit
  • Comply with company, state and governmental health and safety regulations
  • Complete and document Workplace Inspections in a timely manner
  • Perform preventive maintenance checks and report findings 
  • Participate in the work order initiation process when required
  • Ensure all inventory parts are correctly charged

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program, technical program, or equivalent experience in industrial background
  • Minimum 3 years electrical experience

KNOWLEDGE

  • Power distribution systems
  • Low voltage and high voltage terminations, maintenance on switchgear up to 4160 volts
  • Basic electrical calculations
  • Electrical test equipment 
  • Soldering operations
  • Precision measuring tools (micrometers, dial indicators, etc)

  • Work is performed under the direction of department supervisor or manager

  • Assists Driver in delivering and off-loading product at customer facility.  With assistance from Driver will carry product.
  • Delivers customer orders to customer site using a company van or pickup truck.

  • Drives pilot vehicle for oversize loads, ensuring compliance with appropriate safety regulations.
