FirstFour is assisting a client in the Mobile area in their search for a Litigation Paralegal.

In this role, the paralegal will be expected take an active role in all parts of their assigned cases and will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the investigation phase
  • Preparing and filing all legal documents
  • Answering written discovery requests
  • Transmitting service of process documents to our investigator/process server
  • Setting depositions and hearings
  • Preparing lawyers for and attending depositions and/or hearings
  • Preparing mediation position statements
  • Requesting, tracking, and reviewing relevant medical records and medical billing information
  • Assisting in trial preparation and attending trial

This position requires an individual who is highly detailed, organized and demonstrates the ability and willingness to follow-up and see each request through to completion.

Requirements for Consideration:

  • 3 or more years experience in a similar role
  • Four year undergraduate degree or completion of a Paralegal course highly desired
  • Experience in a personal injury law office

We are assisting our client in their search for an In-house Paralegal. The salary range is $45,000-$52,000.

The In- House Paralegal (or Legal Assistant) will support the corporate legal and claims departments. This person will help with regulatory filings, assist in drafting legal correspondence and some contracts, perform base-level, legal-related research/analysis, and assist with claims management.


The ideal candidate would possess the following:

  • At least 5 years working in a law firm or legal department

  • At least an associate’s degree.

  • Formal paralegal or even legal education is a plus, but not required.

  • Must be a proficient writer / good at proof-reading.

  • Very organized.

  • Initiative to run with projects.
