Our customer in Harahan, LA is looking for a Marine or Industrial Spray Painter to join the team to assist with the painting of barges and other relevant items around the facility.

This is not a brush and roll position and you must have verifiable relevant experience.

This role will work day shift, Monday through Friday, starting at 7am and working between 40 and 48 hours per week at $21.50 per hour.

Delivery Helper

  • Assists Driver in delivering customer orders; assists in loading and off-loading product; or drives pilot vehicle for oversize loads.  
  • Work is performed under the direction of department supervisor or manager
  • Assists with loading and appropriately securing product onto or inside delivery vehicle using motorized or non-motorized material handling equipment.
  • Assists Driver in delivering and off-loading product at customer facility.  With assistance from Driver will carry product.
  • Delivers customer orders to customer site using a company van or pickup truck.  
  • Obtains signed proof of delivery.
  • Drives pilot vehicle for oversize loads, ensuring compliance with appropriate safety regulations.
  • Inspects and maintains delivery vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Plans and paces own work efficiency in order to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related productivity goals.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand maps, routes, road signs
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to read and understand machine and equipment diagrams and system schematics
  • Knowledgeable of escort service regulations
  • Knowledge of basic math and measurement skills
  • Knowledge of and ability to use motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and 7-year background check
