A leading industrial operation is seeking an experienced Mill Manager to oversee mill production, maintenance, reliability, and inspection functions. This leadership role is responsible for optimizing performance, safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage production and maintenance teams across mill operations

Monitor and improve quality, downtime, and throughput

Develop and implement process improvement and compliance strategies

Collaborate cross-functionally to solve technical and operational challenges

Set and manage budgets; drive standardization and continuous improvement

Provide subject matter expertise and interface with senior leadership

Ensure a safe, compliant, and productive work environment
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

10+ years in mill operations management (steel, aluminum, or paper industry)

Strong understanding of slab-to-coil processes, metallurgy, and manufacturing systems

Experience in maintenance management and lean manufacturing methodologies

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP and advanced degree a plus
Work Environment:

Onsite, industrial mill setting

Monday to Friday, with occasional extended hours or weekend support
