Mechanic – Maintenance

Starting Pay: Level 1 – $36.00/hr

3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial setting required
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings/schematics
Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, overhead cranes, cooling water circuits
Ability to read and understand hydraulic and mechanical drawings including P&ID’s
Ability to perform hot work (burning, welding, grinding)
In-depth knowledge of AC motors, drives, sensors, actuators
Knowledge of power distribution
Experience in the steel industry preferred
Experience with furnaces, power distribution systems, motors, VFDs, automation systems, instrumentation, hydraulics
Familiar with Microsoft Office products
High school diploma or GED required
7-year background check is required
Must be able to pass a drug screen
