FirstFour Staffing is seeking a Director of Store Operations on behalf of a fast-growing, vertically integrated convenience store operator expanding across the Gulf Coast. This direct hire leadership opportunity offers the chance to shape operational excellence and scalability at a regional level while working closely with executive leadership.

Summary: 
The Director of Store Operations will report directly to the CEO and serve as a key member of the leadership team. This individual will design and implement scalable operational frameworks, develop store-level processes, and drive performance across multiple convenience store locations. The ideal candidate is strategic, data-driven, and experienced in building retail infrastructure to support growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and store success programs to standardize workflows
  • Lead the strategy and execution of retail expansion, performance improvement, and customer experience initiatives
  • Oversee daily operations, financial forecasting, inventory management, and regulatory compliance
  • Recruit, train, and lead high-performing store and operations teams
  • Optimize merchandising, vendor partnerships, and marketing initiatives to drive revenue and margin growth
  • Implement retail technology solutions and establish KPIs to monitor and elevate store performance
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align operational plans with broader business objectives

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in convenience retail or a related industry
  • Expertise in SOP development, team training, compliance, and multi-site management
  • Strong background in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial performance management
  • Experience in inventory control, merchandising, and vendor negotiations
  • Proficient with operational software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
