Job Summary
We are hiring experienced Pipe Welders with strong skills in 6G pipe welding, GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), and FCAW (Flux Core) processes. This position requires experience welding Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and Copper Nickel piping systems in a small shipyard environment.
This is a full-time opportunity with consistent hours and a 4-day work week.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform 6G pipe welding in accordance with WPS and project specifications
  • Weld Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and Copper Nickel materials
  • Execute GTAW (TIG) root passes and SMAW (Stick) fill and cap passes
  • Interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and production standards
  • Work effectively in a team-oriented industrial setting

Required Weld Test
All candidates must successfully pass the following:

  • 6G Position
  • Copper Nickel to Copper Nickel – GTAW (TIG)
  • Carbon Steel – GTAW root / SMAW fill & cap
  • Stainless Steel – SMAW, GTAW, or FCAW
  • Copper Nickel to Carbon – GTAW

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Pipe Welder in shipyard environments
  • Proficiency in GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), and FCAW (Flux Core)
  • Ability to pass required weld testing
  • Must pass a 7-year criminal background check
  • Must be clean shaven to wear a respirator
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Compensation & Schedule

  • $28.39 per hour
  • $500 Sign-On Bonus
  • 4-day work week (Monday–Thursday)
  • 40 hours per week
  • Overtime opportunities as available

Job Overview

This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial electrical systems, marine electrical components, power distribution equipment, and control systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in industrial plants, shipyards, manufacturing facilities, or marine environments and be comfortable working rotating shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial and marine electrical systems
