FirstFour Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Civil Drafter for a direct hire opportunity with an established architectural consulting firm specializing in civil and municipal engineering. Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed civil drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Assist engineers in developing design plans for site layouts, grading, utilities, roadways, and drainage systems
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate documentation
- Revise drawings based on engineering feedback and project requirements
- Ensure drafting standards and quality control protocols are consistently met
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and surveyors to support efficient project delivery
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in civil drafting or a related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required
- Knowledge of civil site design standards and utility layouts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Associate degree or certification in Drafting, CAD Technology, or related discipline preferred
