The ideal candidate will provide technical and leadership support for Central Maintenance technicians for proactive work implementation and policy integration to help meet operational and business goals.
The Basics
• Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 10+ years of HVAC maintenance experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of SAP or CMMS systems
• Experience with HVAC systems including Carrier, Trane, Nordic, Rittal, and similar equipment
• Experience designing cooling and heating systems
What You’ll Be Doing
• Maintain HVAC maintenance backlog and prioritize repair work
• Screen and evaluate incoming work orders
• Conduct field walk-downs to identify job scope and requirements
• Identify safety hazards and ensure proper safety procedures are followed
• Plan and optimize maintenance work for technicians
• Utilize SAP for maintenance activities and documentation
• Review work orders and follow up on incomplete work
• Create and update preventive maintenance plans and schedules
• Manage HVAC automation systems and tracking spreadsheets
• Coordinate corrective actions and support root cause investigations
• Arrange parts and materials needed for maintenance activities
• Ensure EPA-related HVAC compliance requirements are met
Work Environment
• Office and industrial maintenance setting
• Located in the Calvert, AL area
• Monday–Friday schedule with extended hours during peak workloads
