A leading manufacturing facility is seeking a Process Automation Engineer to manage Level 2 automation projects for rolling mill operations. This role focuses on developing and maintaining applications, HMI systems, databases, and hardware to support production efficiency and automation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement process automation solutions for Hot and Cold Rolling Mills
  • Configure and support HMI systems (WinCC/Wonderware)
  • Develop applications using C#, C++, and SQL
  • Maintain and optimize relational databases (Oracle or SQL Server)
  • Coordinate user testing and conduct code reviews
  • Provide technical support and system customization, including third-party integrations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in automation, including:
  • Programming (C#, C++, SQL)
  • HMI systems
  • Database management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong analytical and problem-solving skills
