FirstFour Staffing has partnered with a reputable wholesale fencing company that is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee inventory and material procurement operations at their facility in Silverhill, AL.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the purchasing of fencing materials and related supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor stock levels and forecast future needs based on sales trends and seasonal demands.
- Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure accurate inventory flow and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards in all procurement activities.
- Support budgeting and reporting related to material costs and inventory valuation.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of purchasing or inventory management experience, preferably in building material supply.
- Background in companies like Ford Lumber, Swift Lumber, Ace Hardware, BuildersFirst, or Lowe’s Building Center is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of building materials, particularly fencing products.
- Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
