Job description:
Millwright – 3+ years of experience
Location: Mobile AL
Pay $27-$40 hourly (local rate only)
Hours: 40+ hrs (overtime is available)
Duration: Contract to Hire – client wants to rollover contractors once they meet min hours clause
Drug Test and Background Check Required
Valid Safety Council Card
Site Specific – Evonik + other projects (client has several new projects they are about to start)
Start Date – next week.
- Must pass the National, Federal, and state background check
- Must be able to pass an MVR Check
- Millwright will Install, assemble, align, and dismantle industrial machinery and equipment
- Millwright will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems
- Millwright will diagnose mechanical failures and determine corrective actions
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and work orders
- Use precision tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, and laser alignment systems
- Perform welding, cutting, rigging, and hoisting operations
- Lubricate machinery and replace worn or defective parts
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair record
