FirstFour Staffing is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity with a leading industrial recycling company. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment while overseeing the maintenance and reliability of heavy machinery and processing equipment.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead a proactive safety culture focused on continuous improvement
- Maintain equipment reliability through preventive maintenance and repairs
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate supply orders
- Develop and manage repair schedules to meet project timelines
- Conduct routine site visits to identify equipment issues and solutions
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and logs
- Assist with budgeting and cost analysis for maintenance projects
- Enforce company safety standards and procedures
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Effective planning, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to diagnose mechanical issues by sight and sound
- Skilled in using hand and power tools
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of maintenance experience required
- Welding experience is a plus
- Background in repairing heavy equipment, metal processing machinery, or trucks
- High school diploma or GED
