FirstFour Staffing has partnered with a small technology company that is seeking to add a Helpdesk Technician to their team. 

***This is an onsite role that cannot be performed remotely. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Monitoring and maintaining computer and server infrastructure.
  • Procuring new hardware and rolling out new software.
  • Managing email and internet filters.
  • Maintaining disk images for new installations.
  • Ensuring licenses are up-to-date.
  • Addressing interactions between software and the network.
  • Implementing security programs with hardware and software.
  • Tracking projects with internal and external team members.
  • Maintaining network performance.
  • Maintaining VoIP performance
  • Managing the electronic equipment that activates any network pieces.
  • Troubleshooting network problems.
  • Researching and integrating new technologies into the network lifecycle.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Experience & Education:
    • Minimum 3 years' experience in IT support or similar role
    • A strong technical understanding of computer systems, networking, mobile devices, and other technologies.
    • Good understanding and working knowledge of physical and wireless networks, including those for computer communications and telecommunication
    • Skills in Network Management
    • Familiar with IT support ticketing systems.
    • Proficiency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
    • Critical thinking and analytical capabilities in troubleshooting.
