Electrical Project Engineer
Our client is looking for an Electrical Project Engineer for a 2-year direct hire contract opportunity
Constructing a new $775m state of the art manufacturing facility
This position will provide strong technical knowledge and skills to assist maintenance and production in the implementation of equipment and system improvements during the construction of a new state of the art manufacturing facility
Provide electrical technical support to project management team
Coordination of engineering services and activities in the implementation of System/Equipment modifications and/or improvements
Establish the technical requirements necessary to purchase or modify equipment /systems
Maintain Technical documentation
Requirements:
BS in Electrical Engineering
3 years heavy industrial manufacturing experience
Knowledge of Electrical Engineering practices and maintenance of heavy industrial equipment
Technical knowledge of PLC and HMI based control systems design, AC drive systems design and start up, electrical systems, VFD/VSD drives, controls, P&IDs, NEC and NFPA 70E
Predictive Maintenance techniques and analysis
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products required; SAP preferred
Experience in the steel industry a plus
Position is eligible for 20 % performance bonus
